Since its first edition, ESWC has always promoted diversity, inclusivity, and in particular Esports for Women, although all of its competitions were mixed. The objective was to offer women players competition conditions and media exposure equivalent to men, in order to accelerate their experience and structure the scene. In 2012, the women’s final was epic and memorable, celebrating Stephanie Harvey and her teammates as the best in the world, one more time.
